Job Description
School District No. 20 (Kootenay-Columbia) is looking for casual employees for the On-Call List for Inclusion Support Employees (Education Assistants, Child Care Workers, and Child and Youth Care Workers). Casual staff can expect to work 3 to 5 days a week; however, casual work cannot be guaranteed. Individuals looking to work in a rewarding team environment all across our School District (Rossland, Trail, Fruitvale, Castlegar, Robson) with the likelihood of attaining a permanent position in the future should apply immediately!
Qualifications
Completion of an Education Assistant or Social Service Worker certificate program or a Child and Youth Care diploma program, which includes a practicum, or equivalent combination of education, recent training, and experience.
Job Details
Rate of Pay: Ranges from $30.60/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $34.70/hr to $32.12/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $36.42/hr
Inclusion Support Employees have winter break, spring break, and summers off!

The employer may consider applications from those who do not have the required abilities and qualifications. The rate of pay for Uncertified Education Assistants is $29.82/hr + 13.4% in lieu of benefits = $33.82/hr.
