The Skills Centre provides a simulated clinical environment for clinicians, engineers and entrepreneurs to come together to explore concepts and ideas in medical device innovation. Research program areas currently include:

  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Endoscopy
  • Orthopaedic surgery
  • Perioperative medicine
  • Neurotechnology

The Skills Centre also welcomes other fields of clinical investigation to come and take advantage of this unique lab space. The Skills Centre appreciates the need for confidentiality when it comes to technology development.
